7 Characteristics of a Godly Woman

A godly woman desires to receive a vision from God that will give her a glimpse into her future.

A godly woman has courage to be herself in all situations. She never compromises her godly values and teachings to fit in with her surroundings. She is faithful to God at all times.

A godly woman’s strength is demonstrated during times of difficult tests. When things in life seem heavy to bear or people don’t understand how she can maintain joy and peace in God, she confesses that the “joy of the Lord is my strength”.

A godly woman is bold in her approach to fulfilling the will of God in her life. She is not offensive as to hurt others feelings but she is not afraid to do or go where God commands her to go. Her boldness rises when others may have a draw back spirit or are afraid of what others may think of them.

A godly woman is convinced that God cannot fail. She seeks Him and goes to Him in every situation in her life because she believes without a doubt that God is on her side, she has victory in every area of her life and that the schemes of the devil will not prosper.

A Godly woman trusts in God’s word. Through prayer she is sure that God is always involved in her affairs.

A Godly woman must understand and know her purpose from God. She has spent time in prayer and studying God’s word to know what God has deemed for her corporately and individually.

Guy Best Friends. (A much needed rant)

I keep seeing all of these posts that basically say the same thing..

“I want a guy best friend that gets mistaken as my boyfriend”

It’s probably just me, but I have no clue why ANYONE would want to be in this position. It’s awkward and it is in no way fun. People think you guys are dating for a good amount of reasons. ‘You are together all the time’, ‘the way you interact is cute’, ‘you are different than every other girl to him’, ‘you two just match’.

If this is the case with two friends, there is probably a good chance that at least one of the people in this friendship wants to be more than friends.

I have full right to speak on this matter because I can’t go more than a week without someone mistaking one my best guy friends for my boyfriend. For all of the reasons I stated, and more. And it sucks!

I love our relationship to death but answering the awkward, “how long have you been going out?” “are you guys just not public?” “are you just hiding it for professional reasons”….. the list could go on.

Guy best friends are freaking fantastic. I would not trade mine for anything! They are some of the only people I am myself around. However, people thinking they are my boyfriend is just not fun.

It may be cute and all thinking about it, but once you are there… it makes you question and doubt every part of you.

At the end of the day, it’s awkward and causes so much doubt. If you have a guy friend who is mistaken as your boyfriend, I would look over that relationship and see what you want out of it.

Yes, I do happen to believe that love is mainly about pushing chocolate-covered candies and, you know, in some cultures, a chicken. You can call me a sucker, I don’t care, ‘cause I do…believe in it. Bottom line…is the couples that are truly right for each other wade through the same crap as everybody else, but the big difference is, they don’t let it take ‘em down.
